Rhythm – Readalong

What is Rhythm?
Rhythm is a guided, structured readalong experience. Unlike a traditional read-through, Rhythm allows a host to create a predetermined discussion schedule for the group, selecting key points in the book where conversations will happen. Whether you’re hosting the readalong or participating, Rhythm ensures everyone is on the same page (literally!) at the right time.

How to Use Rhythm:

  1. Join or Host a Readalong: You can either join an existing readalong or create one as a host. As a host, you'll set up the book, select specific chapters or sections for discussion, and schedule discussion points.
  2. Set Up Discussion Points: If you’re hosting, create discussion points for each scheduled segment. For example, you might schedule a discussion after every 3 chapters or after a major plot twist.
  3. Participate in Forum Discussions: When it's time to discuss a segment, you’ll be able to access the dedicated discussion forum for that part of the book. Here, you can read others' thoughts, add your own, and respond to questions or prompts.
  4. Stay on Track: The Rhythm feature will notify participants when a discussion is upcoming, keeping everyone aligned with the group’s reading pace.
  5. Track Engagement: Keep up with who’s participating and which discussion points have received the most attention, so you can make sure to keep the conversation flowing.

Why Use Rhythm?

  • Perfect for structured discussions with predetermined pacing.
  • Engage with the book at critical points and explore deeper insights.
  • Ideal for readers who enjoy discussing books in a group setting with clear, organized milestones.
